RITOS

Filmado no Rio de Janeiro, RITOS acompanha a Copa do Mundo do ponto de vista de dois grupos de jovens cariocas: um que se reúne no tradicional reduto de torcedores do bairro da Tijuca, o Alzirão e outro, formado por jovens da Frente Nacional dos Torcedores. Enquanto o primeiro grupo dedica-se a decorar sua rua de verde e amarelo, enfeitá-la com bandeirolas e montar um grande telão para receber milhares de torcedores; o outro tem uma importante atuação política nas ruas questionando o processo de elitização do futebol, os altos preços dos ingressos e os bilhões gastos com as reformas dos estádios.

Shot in Rio de Janeiro, RITES follows the World Cup from the point of view of two groups of young cariocas: one that meets the traditional stronghold of Tijuca fans, the Alzirão and another made up of young members of the National Front of Supporters. While the first group is dedicated to decorate its street on green and yellow, embellish it with flags and set up a big screen to receive thousands of fans; the other has an important political role on the streets questioning the football gentrification process, the high ticket prices and the billions spent on the renovations of the stadium.
